7. A Bug's Life

Some 20+ years after Pixar's second movie hit cinemas, fans are still hoping that they might one day get a sequel, and those people got another dash of hope with the numerous references to A Bug's Life peppered throughout Toy Story 4.

For starters, a Bug's Life calendar is visible in Andy's room during the movie's opening flashback, while Giggle McDimples (Ally Maki) mentions to Woody that she deals with "ants, caterpillars", and a can of lard is visible at one point (which served as a makeshift bar in A Bug's Life).

It probably means nothing, but fans can dream, right?
