9. Charlotte Hope - Evil Dead Wrath

The Evil Dead franchise has remained impressively consistent despite pivoting into more standalone(ish) stories in recent years, and a big part of the reason for this is the compelling, brilliantly acted central characters.

Though the recent Evil Dead Burn was the series' most divisive film, it still benefitted enormously from Souheila Yacoub's outstanding central performance as protagonist Alice, so 2028's Evil Dead Wrath should comfortably follow suit.

We don't know a whole lot about the film yet, except that it will be a prequel to the original Evil Dead set in 1972 and star Charlotte Hope, best known for her performances as Catherine of Aragon in The Spanish Princess and Myranda in Game of Thrones.

Between Hope's evident acting chops and the Evil Dead series' recent track record with strong heroines, why expect any different here, especially with talented rising filmmaker Francis Galluppi (The Last Stop in Yuma County) leading the charge?
