What Is Your Most Anticipated Upcoming 2013 Film?

By James Garcia /

Last weekend we asked about your favorite movie moment from summer 2013. We received quite the response, and a lot of great comments from readers. There were quite a few big blockbusters this year, packed full of memorable moments and action sequences, so it was fun to see what people found the most memorable of the summer. The "House Party Protocol" in Iron Man 3 was incredibly popular, as well as Superman's first flight in Man of Steel and Spock's fight against Benedict Cumberbatch near the end of Star Trek Into Darkness. Now that the summer is firmly behind us, we'd like to take the opportunity this weekend to look at the three and a half months remaining this year and find out what your most anticipated film is. The Fall and Winter movie season is generally reserved for the more Oscar-friendly fare, and 2013 is packed full of films that will be ripe for consideration when the Academy Awards come round. We will also see a handful of blockbusters this Fall, including Thor: The Dark World, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, and Ender's Game. The Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings franchises have proven that tentpole films can hold their own in the last few months of the year, so it will be interesting to see if the films coming out soon will have the same success, or if they should have tried to score box office gold in the summer months instead. Whether it's one of these franchise films, an Oscar contender, an upcoming horror film, a more family-friendly movie, or anything in between, we want to know: what film are you most looking forward to this Fall/Winter? Sound off in the comments below!
