What Your Favourite Judd Apatow Movie Says About You

By Jon Manson /

Judd Apatow makes movies about life. I realize that statement comes with a stench of douchiness, but oh well. The 40 Year Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Funny People, This is 40; all of these films try to examine relationships between people, how life takes a toll on us, and how we deal with it. They are also filled with cursing, farting and flawed people trying to get by and deal with what life throws at them. They are filled with everyday characters dealing with everyday situations in almost always funny and sometimes profound ways. But what does your favorite Judd Apatow movie really say about you? Did you relate more to Seth Rogen's struggling comedian in Funny People or Steve Carrell's 40 Year Old Virgin? One thing is for sure no matter which film you fancy: each of these movies deals with a different aspect of life and struggle and heartbreak and whichever one is your favorite might say a thing or two about you. Let's examine. Note: We will only be examining films directed by Judd Apatow. If I started to break down what being an Anchorman junkie said about people like me, we'd end up in therapy... or not. I'd rather be safe and just not find out.
