2. Nikki Kills Sarah - Obsession

Obsession may be the most recent film on this list, but it's safe to say that people are still going to be talking about many of its most shocking moments years from now.

And surely the single most jaw-dropping scene involves the absurdly violent death of Bear's (Michael Johnston) co-worker Sarah (Megan Lawless) at the hands of the murderously obsessed Nikki (Inde Navarrette).

When Bear meets Sarah at the park, we as the audience know that it's just a matter of time before Nikki shows up and all hell breaks loose, but that doesn't make the nauseatingly brutal outcome any less shocking.

Just as Bear and Sarah are having a tender moment, Nikki comes rushing up to the car window with a brick and attacks Sarah, slamming her face repeatedly into the brick and killing her in the process.

As shocking as the scene is, it was originally even worse, as Barker was forced to cut the attack down by "six or seven smashes" to avoid an NC-17 rating from the MPA.
