Its Hugh Jackmans first appearance as Wolverine and for comic book fans, its the one theyll never forget. Especially after he knocks seven bells out of his cage fighting opponents. Heading into a dingy dive bar, young runaway Rogue (played by Anna Paquin) stumbles upon an illegal cage fight. And it just so happens to be the first time she encounters another mutant. Spotting Wolverines signature hairstyle in the ring, Rogue watches as he beats his opponents to within an inch of their life. But that still doesnt put her off chatting with him Meeting Wolverine at the bar, a quick exchange shows us what hes all about hes rough, tough and fends for himself but still has a soft spot for a damsel in distress. Of course, Wolverine soon loses his temper when one of his cage fighting foes demands some money from him and threatens to expose his secret. As the fight gets out of hand, Rogue is obviously worried. That is, until he turns the tables with his retractable claws.
