13. Gal Gadot - Snow White

Disney's live-action Snow White remake failed to please just about everyone for varying reasons, and one constant remark in both the critical and audience reviews was the howlingly off-note casting of Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen.

Though it's easy to argue that Gadot more-or-less looks the part, that's basically where it ends for her.

Gadot, while not a spectacular actress, is absolutely fine when cast appropriately, such as in Wonder Woman, yet she seemingly has no idea what to do with this character and in turn delivers the flattest, most lifeless performance in the movie.

This is a part that probably needed an actor capable of dialling up the camp and having fun with it, but Gadot never gets there, nor does she deliver the goods when required to sing.

Gadot's miscasting only proved all the more egregious given that her co-star Rachel Zegler put on an absolute acting clinic as Snow White, and was largely praised as the film's single standout element.
