The last time we saw Warpath was in 2014's Days of Future Past, but the mutant didn't really have much to do.

Indeed, while Bryan Singer's seminal X-feature earned plenty of plaudits during its initial box-office run, the post-apocalyptic setting was criminally underused. Fans of Warpath would've felt this particularly however, with the former X-Force member accumulating barely a minute of screen-time during the film.

Introduced in 1984, Warpath was initially a villain of the X-Men before he swapped sides to join X-Force. On top of the two knives he tends to carry, James Proudstar also possesses super-strength and super-speed, making him one of the most formidable combatants in the X-Men mythos.

Booboo Stewart portrayed the character in DOFP, and it would be great to see the actor mount a return for X-Force, especially if it'll boast that coveted R-rating.
