X-Men: Apocalypse - 9 Reasons To Be Excited
9. Professor X Will Finally Go Bald
Okay, so a bald Charlie Xavier isn't a huge deal in that it doesn't have any bearing on the plot - but fans have been waiting to see James McAvoy sporting the character's iconic comic look for a few years now so it'll be nice to finally have him chrome-domed.
In the comics Xavier's powers caused his hair to fall out as a teenager, but obviously they took a different approach with the younger version of the mutant leader in X-Men: First Class, and McAvoy has sported a full head of hair for the last two films.
So why finally lose the locks for X-Men: Apocalypse? It's possible that Xavier deciding to stop suppressing his abilities and return to the chair in Days Of Future Past will result in a boost in his power, which could be used to explain his late hair loss.
That or just plain old male pattern baldness - this instalment is set 10 years after the last one after all.
