Given that having black eyes is the universal symbol for possession, this also doesn't look good for Xavier. But then perhaps this is simply a reflection of how Apocalypse's power plays out in Xavier's mind when he's able to detect him. Though it does seem a little odd that Xavier would need the amplifier to detect a mutant as powerful as Apocalypse.
