1. This Is Definitely Mystique's Death Scene
And finally, if you needed any more proof that Mystique is almost certainly going to bite the big one at the hands of Jean Grey in this movie, the tail-end of the trailer features this incredibly suspicious shot of Beast (Nicholas Hoult) intimately embracing a downed Mystique.
While it's certainly possible we're being epically misdirected and the fate of Jennifer Lawrence's mutant has possibly even been altered in re-shoots, given her lack of enthusiasm for the franchise, the ultimately finality of the movie and the emotional boost it could possibly give the story, it just makes too much sense.
It's still not quite clear exactly how Mystique buys the farm, but it's clearly a result of Jean's unbridled powers somehow.
