1. It Looks WAY Too Much Like The Last Stand
If you're going to try and remake the worst movie in your franchise, it's best you make it very clear how different your new version is going to be. Any suggestion that you're just doing the same thing again is an invitation to be accused of insanity (what with that Einstein quote and everything).
So it's rather unfortunate that this looks like a little bit too much like a beat-for-beat remake, albeit with the added element of Jessica Chastain's mysterious alien (who now looks like Jean Grey's imaginary friend, in all honesty). Both Professor X and Magneto seem to have the same storylines and they've replaced Wolverine with Cyclops, which is something of a trade-down.
But hey, if they keep the Vinnie Jones cameos down to a minimum, we can probably all agree it won't be recapturing the worst of that movie.
