3. "You Know What Happens To A Toad When It's Struck By Lightning?" - X-Men
Who can forget this infamously awful line from the original X-Men movie, where Storm faces off against Toad and says to him, "You know what happens to a toad when it's struck by lightning? The same thing that happens to everything else", before striking him with lightning and catapulting him into the river. Interestingly enough, the cringe-inducing line was one of Joss Whedon's few contributions to the script, though Berry really attracts a lot of the blame for her wooden delivery of a line that, in the right hands, perhaps wouldn't have sounded quite so terrible. Either way, it's major cheeseball nonsense, and most fans' worst memory of the original movie...apart from Berry's sacrilegious attempt at an African accent, of course (which she promptly dropped for all future X-Men films).
