3. The New Costumes
After the dust settles and Apocalypse has melted in a final shower of weird orgasmic noises and sand, we get a look at the New X-Men, all kitted out in their delightful new suits, all of which are influenced by the comics. FINALLY. Mystique gets a costume n homage to her white sleeveless number from the comics.
Cyclops has the most comic book like costume: he ends up looking like his classic Jim Lee costume from the 90's, complete with the Y-shaped chest bel and that famous visor (replacing his Ray-Bans)...
Empire revealed what some of the rest of the cast look like at the end. Quicksilver's X costume is obviously influenced more generally by the comics (rather than him wearing a lightning bolt), and Beast has a more revealing look, in line with his underpants only look in the comics.
Storm clearly has her cloak from the comics and cartoon, and while Jean Grey's costume isn't like her comic book equivalent it does seem to point back to Famke Janssen's look in X2...
And completing the team, Nightcrawler's red Thriller jacket has been replaced with something with the same cut but a slightly different colour scheme, reflecting more closely his comic book appearance...
