12. The Anti-Life Equation

In addition to clarifying Steppenwolf's motivations and reintroducing Darkseid, the Snyder Cut also returns another element cut from the theatrical version: the Anti-Life Equation.

It's explained that Darkseid is after the Anti-Life Equation, a formula which is carved into the surface of Earth itself and will allow anyone who harnesses it to effectively own all of existence.

Anti-Life was featured prominently in the comics and clearly would've played a major part in the planned Justice League sequel, and while it's basically only whispered about here, it's still neat to see it incorporated back into the story.
