11. General Swanwick Is Martian Manhunter

Surely the most crowd-pleasing cameo is that of fan favourite superhero Martian Manhunter, who is revealed to have been masquerading as Martha Kent (Diane Lane) during a conversation with Lois Lane mid-way through the movie.

Better still, it's confirmed that Martian Manhunter was actually General Swanwick (Harry Lennix) all along.

Though Snyder stated a while ago that this scene was storyboarded and filmed, there was never any guarantee it would actually end up included in the Snyder Cut.

Martian Manhunter also re-appears in the final scene of the film, paying Bruce Wayne a brief visit and warning him that Darkseid will return.

The CGI may not be great, but it's still a pleasantly surprising inclusion for comic book fans.
