Heavy Rain is a masterpiece of story telling, as you control a handful of characters all searching for the elusive Origami Killer. The four separate story strands in the game have you work the case as a gumshoe private detective, an FBI agent with a substance abuse problem, a reporter with chronic insomnia and most heartbreaking of all, Ethan, who's son is kidnapped by the Origami Killer near the start of the game. It's in Ethan's story the emotional weight of the game is delivered as he is forced to undergo five trials to prove how far he is willing to go to save his son. When Ethan and the Madison's (the reporter) stories interlink, they begin to work together to try and find the killer while finding an odd comfort in each other's presence. Ethan, a broken man at the loss of one son and the kidnap of another and Madison, unable to sleep for weeks on end, they eventually reach a point where in Ethan's dingy motel room their emotions get the better of them and they have sex. Cue an entirely interactive, gesture based sex scene which is nothing short of hilarious. Having an on screen gesture indicating which stick to move in which direction to allow Ethan to cup Madison's breast is just too much to even bear.
