I'm sure I don't need to spell this one out but Assassin's Creed isn't a franchise commonly associated with football. Yet this is what Best Buy gave out in the UK. Don't get me wrong. A game of FIFA starring Altair and Ezio could be a bestseller easily. Imagine whipping out the hidden blade when you disagree with the ref. In all seriousness though, how this was thought up as a relevant gift to market a game based around pirate-assassins, I'm not entirely sure. I don't know many gamers who would really want a football sitting in front of them when they crack into their brand new copy of Assassin's Creed IV. Just sitting there, begging you to go outside...away from the game.
