Now this is a game that everyone should be getting pumped up about, mostly because of a certain individual; Keiji Inafune. Need I say anything else? The man responsible for giving Capcom and the gaming world Mega Man, Inafune has since left that company's employ and started up his own studio - Comcept. You may think you've never heard of the fledgling developer before, but just type the words Mighty No. 9 into Google and you'll quickly realise the prior knowledge is already in your head somewhere. Anyway, ReCore. All anyone's seen of the game so far is a short teaser trailer on the grand stage of Microsoft's E3 conference that proudly displayed Inafune's name at the start, but even a small glimpse is enough to rev up the speculation engines. As a (currently unnamed) female protagonist and her robotic pet dog, players will be partaking in a spot of action-adventure with a neat twist. Your pet isn't so much the canine frame of the bot, but the core that resides within. And if the trailer is anything to by, you'll be dunking that orb into all sorts of abandoned technology for some nifty gameplay mechanics. Oh, and it should probably be mentioned that the game's being developed in partnership with Armature Studio - who previously worked on the Metroid Prime series. Yes, get excited.
