Lara Croft's latest adventure isn't an innovative industry-changer or pivotal masterpiece, but it is an brilliantly satisfying, action-packed experience. Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition takes the original reboot of the popular franchise, and propels it into the next generation with a total graphical overhaul. It's the best Tomb Raider game in a long time, and the early game in particular manages to nail down the feeling of being a survivor. The story isn't anything to shout about, and there's some questionable characterisation issues, but it's still a solid adventure that will give most action fans what they're looking for. If you haven't gotten round to playing Tomb Raider yet, then the Definitive Edition is definitely the way to go.
