10 MORE Best Pokémon You Never Bothered Catching

10. Falinks

By the time you come across this adorable platoon of armoured Kirbys marching in Route 8 of Pokémon Sword or Shield, you probably already have plenty of fighting type Pokémon on your team.

This fighting type has great fighting type moves, but also has access to some powerful bug type moves like Megahorn and First Impression, helping with type coverage in competitive battles. Its stats are generally nothing to shout about, but given most of its moves deal physical damage, having a decent attack stat complements its offence well.

If you're able to get a hidden ability Falinks, most likely through trading or rarely by catching them in Max Raid battles, you'll get one with the Defiant ability that raises its attack two stages each time a stat is lowered by an opponent.

I would recommend giving a Falinks with the Jolly nature and the Defiant ability a Life Orb to hold, teach it Close Combat, Throat Chop, Zen Headbutt, and either First Impression or Swords Dance.
