10. The Engaging Commentary

As soon as you€™re released from your crate, you€™ll be instantly plagued by the voice of a man on commentary. His purpose is to narrate your every step, because rather brilliantly, you€™re actually on a TV show. At first it can be highly frustrating and annoying, but as you begin to put in the hours, the sarcastic comments he makes only adds to the humor and reminds the player that they are in a competition. Beyond the commentator trying to get under your skin, he also brings various game events to your attention, such as random airdrops as well as the deaths of other players. The joyful voice can be disturbing at times though, especially when you€™re beating an opponent to death with a stick.
