10. Gran Turismo
One of the only PS5 games with footage available, Gran Turismo has been a staple part of any PlayStation gamer's diet since the PS1.
On a pure technical power level this is already pretty staggering. The above footage was shown at Sony's International Broadcast Equipment Exhibition, and is running in 8K, at a ludicrous 120FPS. It's worth noting that the human eye tends to max out frame detection around 150FPS, so we're edging ever closer to the images on our TV looking like a window into another world.
There's always a lot to love with any new Gran Turismo, and Polyphony Digital are a studio full of dedicated petrolheads, rendering everything from dashboard displays to tire treads with excruciating detail. Living up to 8k resolutions and coding that amount of information across so many cars and tracks is one hell of an ask, but thankfully these guys are industry veterans for a reason.
