8. Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus

Why It Will Flop: Oh boy, where to begin? Wolfenstein II releases the same day as Super Mario Odyssey and Assassin's Creed: Origins, not to mention a week before Call of Duty: WWII, ensuring it doesn't really stand a chance.
The game actually looks pretty fantastic, so this is 100% a release day issue. The October release desperately needs a re-think, especially as it comes just two weeks after Bethesda's own The Evil Within 2.
Bethesda has suffered through high-profile bombs recently with Dishonored 2 and Prey 2 both selling below expectations, and Wolfenstein II unfortunately looks set to follow suit.
It'll probably develop cult classic status over the next few years, but whether that'll be enough to justify more Wolfenstein games in the future remains to be seen.
