Keeping in the mind the archaic state of video game technology at the time, the poor designer who was given the task of adapting Alien to the ATARI 2600, probably felt their hands were tied behind their back more than once. The game is no more than a Pacman clone. You move your tiny human through the maze to collect all of the alien eggs (dots) while trying to avoid the elongated crabslike sort of xenomorph looking things. Clearly the film's suspense didn't quite make it into the gameplay.
