2014 is now thoroughly wrapped up, but it doesn't mean that as 2015 starts to stretch its industry-saving legs, there's not a great many titles still digging away at your spare time. When putting together last year's Best Games Of 2014 list - and is often the case with the best in gaming history - some of the best experiences that leave a lasting impression are those that nail everything first time through. That might comprise everything from infuriating boss fights or levels that although you feel a huge sense of accomplishment when defeating, make you utter some line about never going back to do it again. San Andreas, for example, might be an incredible game, but are you really going to redo the entire thing and tackle that Supply Lines mission again? Almost definitely not. On the flip-side to this are those games that perfect their experience in smaller, tastier bite-size morsels of perfection, their replay value being the highest and most recommendable factor when comparing them to any other expansive industry-definers that might be more associated with the medium in general. These are the games you can dip in and out of forevermore, with no need to relearn the controls too much or be put off wondering what was happening in the quest you left halfway through.
