The MGS series has featured many a cyborg ninja over the years, but Gray Fox is the original and best. Even in just his opening scene he effortlessly cuts off Revolver Ocelot's arm and responds with the badass, cryptic line "I'm like you - I have no name" when a slightly befuddled Snake asks who he is. Quite simply, Olga and Raiden's stints as the cyborg ninja have got nothing on this guy. Throughout the rest of the game, Gray Fox steals every scene he's in, whether it's by making Otacon so scared he wets himself (and setting up another bizarre series tradition in the process) or by selflessly sacrificing himself to help destroy Metal Gear Rex. He also has the honour of being the only video game character in history that manages to die a hero even after confessing to callously murdering a child's parents. That's just how much of a positive impact his character made beforehand.
