MGS 2 may have its ups and downs, but squaring off against a seemingly infinite number of Metal Gear Rays was most certainly a high point. It was a gruelling test of timing and multi-tasking, as you had to find a window to attack while simultaneously dodging barrages of machine gun fire, laser beams and mortars the Ray's relentlessly sent your way. It took the basic concept of the classic Rex fight from its predecessor and turned it all the way up to 11. What more could you want?
