15 Best Moments In The Uncharted Series
13. Cliffhanger Tutorial (Among Thieves)
From the very first moment you're given control of Nathan Drake in Uncharted 2 you know the series has upped its game. Because Among thieves doesn't teach you the basics of how to play in a run-of-the-mill tutorial section; it actually turns what's usually a rather tedious exercise into an intense action sequence in its own right.
Hanging from a half-destroyed train that itself is hanging dangerously low over a cliff-side, you control an injured Drake as he climbs back to the surface, finding his footing and taking down a few enemies searching for him in the process.
Not only does this opening section introduce the game's mechanics in an interesting way, but it creates a brilliant sense of scale and mystery while foreshadowing one of the best action set-pieces the series has ever seen in the process.
