The first big action set-piece of Uncharted 2 was the moment the game completely broke away from the constraints of its predecessor.

Following Chloe and Nate as they're chased by both a chopper and a seemingly endless supply of goons through an entire city block, the flow of action - from on-foot chases, tense gun-fights and rooftop getaways - for the first time showed gamers just what the series was capable of.

While the franchise had boasted good action sequences before this, the helicopter chase in Uncharted 2 didn't just set a new bar of quality for the franchise, but for the entire third-person shooter genre itself.
