15 Upcoming Video Games You'll Play Even If The Reviews Are Terrible

13. Unreal Tournament 4

Release Date: TBA. The Buzz: The ninth game in the Unreal series, and the first since 2007's Unreal Tournament 3. The game is being developed by Epic Games in conjunction with crowd-sourcing ideas from fans, and the real kicker? It's being released for free. Why It Could Suck: The price tag could come at a cost. Will Unreal Tournament 4 end up being a freemium or "play to win" game? Such a move would derail the series' integrity overnight and probably make you wish they'd never resurrected it. Why You'll Play It Anyway: For starters, it's free, so it's worth a try, and secondly, UT fans the world over have been gagging for a new game for almost a decade. If it implements many of the mechanics that have changed the FPS landscape since 2007 (such as Call of Duty's leveling up system), then it could be one of the best free-to-play games ever. And if it doesn't? Well, at least there's no money lost.
