Ooh, boy. Talk about a game that the world took one look at and went, "Nope! Not for me, thanks".

Mass Effect Andromeda was doomed from the second we saw all its broken animations, bad line deliveries and terrible opening exchanges between various characters. See, EA decided to let those who'd pre-ordered in early, but the reality was the whole world getting eyes on something we'd later find out was been doomed across its development.

Back to the game itself, and from a horrendously one-dimensional villain to repetitive combat, a plain story with no standout moments and a flat-out broken crafting system, Andromeda not only let down a hardcore fanbase, but managed to be received even worse than Mass Effect 3's monumentally terrible ending.

Now that really is something.
