20 Awful Characters In Amazing Games

17. Alkibiades (Assassin’s Creed Odyssey)

This one could divide the room, since Alkibiades has a collection of fans within the Assassin's Creed fandom. But he's also got more than a few haters, and it's not hard to see why.

Alkibiades, historically, was a renowned Athenian statesman and general, but for our purposes, he's a supporting character in the Greek-based Assassin's Creed Odyssey. In real-world history, Alkibiades was a controversial yet highly influential player in the Peloponnesian War, with a reputation for partying. But in this game, he's all but reduced to flamboyant peacocking.

The character is presented as a maximum-style hedonist, indulging in parties, luxury, and sex all across the shop. While characters like this can be fun, this guy pushes the boat out way too far, making every conversation feel bloated and exhausting. The sheer reliance on sexual innuendo and constant flirtation makes his character seem like a caricature of a randy rich boy.

There just isn't much depth to this supporting figure, and unless you really like persistent boundary testing, he's mostly just a nuisance.
