Coming in at a more reasonable price point over its cockpit extravaganza, Saitek's X52 Pro Flight joystick is a flight sim fan's dream. The stick is known as a HOTAS which means "Hands On Throttle And Stick". In other words each function, setting and button is available by merely grasping the two pieces and it takes some cunning ergonomic design to pull that off especially given how many buttons are accessible. Any button can be used in six different ways thanks to several sub buttons so it's no wonder using this stick has been dubbed "playing the piccolo".
