16. Hidden Karaoke - Left 4 Dead 2

Left 4 Dead 2 is brimming with Easter eggs of all shapes and sizes. Some are purely visual, some require you to do completely random things, and some, like the hidden stage performance, only need you to have the right idea and a little bit of curiosity to try it.

The Concert is the fifth chapter of the Dark Carnival section that, as the name suggests, takes place on a stadium set up for the now-abandoned concert of the Midnight Riders.

However, you can secretly let your characters have a go at performing as well.

The goal of the chapter is to activate the pyrotechnics and the sound mixer at the concert to attract the attention of the rescue helicopter, but if you play as either Coach or Ellis and walk up to the microphone on stage after the lights have been turned on, the two survivors will actually start singing.

While their performance sounds like drunken karaoke after a few pints (they even mess up the lyrics to the song), the Easter egg is still an amazing detail. And as if that wasn't clever enough, when you use voice commands next to the mic, they will also reverberate as if spoken to a real microphone.

The attention to detail is honestly insane.
