20 Cult-Classics Trapped On Old Consoles

9. Batman Begins

Before Arkham Asylum set the superhero video game genre on fire and provided the template for superhero games moving forward, we had Batman Begins. Now, don’t get me wrong, it’s not as good as Batman: Arkham Asylum, but it’s actually pretty good in its own right.

With a strong focus on stealth that’s almost reminiscent of the Splinter Cell series, Batman Begins sees you play out the events of the story with a few story points and scenes extended upon. From stealth gameplay to car chases, this game has a surprising amount of variety packed into it.

The original cast also lent their voices to the project, so if you wanted to hear more of Christian Bale’s Batman voice before it sounds like he’s swallowed hot gravel (I will stand by that his voice was fine in the first movie), Batman Begins on the PlayStation 2 is the game for you.
