3. Can't Marry Serana - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim's DLC Dawnguard is one of the most beloved parts of the title, in no small part due to its main character, and Dragonborn’s companion, Serana.

The vampire princess that serves as the protagonist of the DLC is usually regarded as one of the best companions in the game due to her sarcastic but caring personality and the dozens of unique interactions that you just don’t get with regular base game followers.

Serana frequently comments on your progress through Dawnguard’s story, has her own opinions, and can even ask you questions about yourself and discuss your past with you. For this reason, many players consider her to be the perfect marriage companion, but unfortunately the game doesn’t allow you to.

When you ask Serana to marry you, she will react to it, but then she will politely decline. Her response makes sense story-wise, considering her horrible past with Molag Bal, but this restriction is still a heated point of discussion for many fans.
