20 Most Frustratingly Difficult Video Game Levels Of All Time

6. Mile High Club €“ Veteran Mode (Call of Duty 4: Epilogue)

So you€™ve completed Call of Duty 4 and you€™re sat with that smug look on your face which accompanies the completion of any video game €“ you feel like a hero, invincible even. This self-satisfaction quickly turns to brashness and you foolishly decide to play the Epilogue. Oh and you up the ante by sticking it on Veteran mode too €“ you always thought the game was too easy anyway. In this extra level you€™re on an aircraft and have to fight through a horde of enemy (inevitably armed to the teeth) to rescue a hostage. Of course, it€™s timed too. The time varies between which difficulty you choose and on Veteran mode, you only get a minute. Not feeling so smug now, are you? Once (if) you actually get to the hostage you have 5 seconds to shoot the terrorist in the head, anywhere else and you fail the mission. If you€™re still in the game at this point, you then have 30 seconds to evacuate the plane. A short, intense, incredibly difficult challenge for the elite of the COD world which will surely have lesser players punishing themselves for their misplaced bravado. WhatCulture Tip: Run, use cover wisely and keep reloading. Try to stop as little as possible as there is a huge amount of ground to cover in the time.
