20 Major Video Games You Forgot Were Happening

7. Light No Fire

Hello Games announced its ambitious fantasy survival game, Light No Fire, at The Game Awards in 2023, promising a huge, procedurally-generated planet primed for exploration, survival crafting and RPG mechanics. The reveal certainly raised eyebrows, and considering the huge amount of work the developer has put into No Man's Sky, there seemed to be plenty of reasons to be excited.

However, that remains the only footage we've seen to date. Hello Games boss Sean Murray confirmed in an interview with PC Gamer earlier this year that there was supposed to be a much larger reveal in 2024, but he ultimately decided it wasn't ready to be properly showcased yet.

Light No Fire is still very much in development, with Hello Games confirming there have been No Man's Sky updates that have used technology shared with Light No Fire, but nothing else concrete has materialised in terms of release dates or new footage, leaving fans to speculate about exactly what is causing the delays.
