20 MORE Video Game Bosses That Forced You To CHEAT
8. Quiet - Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
We could've included The End from Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, but that's been covered umpteen times, so let's look at a MGS baddie with a lesser known exploit.
In Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Big Boss finds himself at odds with a covert strike sniper, codenamed Quiet. Quiet has superhuman reflexes and impeccable marksmanship, so she can take Big Boss out long before he gets close to her. The scantily clad assassin has a habit of constantly moving to different positions, so it's difficult to find an appropriate vantage point, while also avoiding being shot.
Fortunately, there's an unusual (and hilarious) technique to beat Quiet easily. Rather than taking part in a drawn-out sniper duel, Boss can call a supply drop and deliver it directly to Quiet's position. If done correctly, the crate should crash on top of Quiet's head, halving her health. If Boss drops another crate on her skull, it'll deplete her health bar completely.
Sure, this method feels like something out of a Looney Tunes cartoon, but it's hard to argue with the results.
