While gifting is more about giving than receiving, no one wants to buy a present they know their SO isnt going to be happy with right off the bat. Whether you just get one thing off their wish list and clutter them with $5 scarves and matching mittens, youre still expecting to drop at least $100 in gaming merchandise. Games themselves are pretty expensive; new releases or special editions more so. Equipment and gear, at least higher end stuff, are at least two dollar signs. When you start getting into the more serious stuff, like collectibles, well, youre a better SO than you think.
