19. Roserade

Roserade is a fairly typical Grass/Poison type, but it does have a few unique tools that can make it a valuable member of any team. Its regular ability is Poison Point which, given that it has a low Defence stat and many players will attack it head-on, is a great counter to frustrate your opponents with status problems.

Roserade can also learn the move Venom Drench which significantly weakens the stats of any poisoned Pokémon. Venoshock can be taught to supplement this, making Roserade an absolute nightmare for any poisoned monster on the field. It also has the reliable Magical Leaf attack, which never misses, and can use Grassy Terrain to restore your in-play Pokémon's HP for a few turns. Roserade is a sterling support act.
