20 Upcoming Games That COULD Be Better Than GTA VI

12. BioShock 4

Back in December 2019, 2K Games formally announced that BioShock 4 was in development at new internal studio Cloud Chamber, yet almost seven years later we still haven't seen an official reveal or even a single sliver of the game in action.

Even though reports emerged in 2025 that the game was suffering through a strained development, enough that Gears of War's Rod Fergusson was brought in to get it back on track, the BioShock franchise's reputation is strong enough to still have faith in this new game delivering the goods.

Given that the original BioShock and threequel BioShock Infinite were both generation-defining titles, why expect any different here? 

2K is clearly putting in the time to get it right rather than rush a half-baked project out the door, yet by the time it finally comes out, the gap between BioShock games will be even longer than that between GTA V and GTA VI. Wild.
