8. Crash Bandicoot: N Sane Trilogy - 2017

Love the old Crash Bandicoot games and wish those newer ones didn’t exist? Well, sadly they’ll exist forever (and in truth some of them aren’t too bad) but hopefully the news that all three PlayStation games from Naughty Dog are being remade for PS4 will please you. This triple pack is also being released this year.

N Sane Trilogy takes the three classics from the 90s and gives them a thorough graphical makeover. So, what’s left is the classic gameplay and levels, with lovely modern visuals. If that doesn’t please Crash fans, perhaps nothing will.

In development at Activision’s Vicarious Visions, the team most recently known for making Skylanders games, Crash N Sane Trilogy should appeal to both new and longtime fans for the marsupial. In an ideal world original developer Naughty Dog would have been at the helm of these remakes, but the fact this collection is happening at all is cause for celebration.
