20 Upcoming PS4 Exclusives You Can’t Afford To Miss
7. Gran Turismo Sport - 2017
Gran Turismo used to be a real event game. The original broke new ground on the PlayStation, while Gran Turismo 3 set a bar on PlayStation 2 that proved incredibly hard to beat. As development on the games became more complex, dev time took longer meaning there was a gigantic five year gap between GT4 and GT5, and by the time GT6 released on the PS3 at the end of 2013 the PS4 had already hit the market and gamers were growing a little tired of what Gran Turismo had to offer.
GT Sport looks set to make a real statement on PlayStation 4, pushing for more realism while also making the most of the improved PS4 Pro hardware. Series creator Kazunori Yamauchi has even said that he sees GT Sport as the start of a new generation for the franchise.
If more realism and lovely swanky visuals don’t convince you that GT Sport is going to deliver the goods, perhaps PS VR support will. GT Sport will include a special VR Tour that makes use of the PS4’s VR headset.
