OD is a Hideo Kojima joint so of course it's going to lead us to some most unexpected places.

But development of this new horror game - produced in collaboration with filmmaker Jordan Peele - has been cagey even for Kojima's standards, given that it was first revealed at the Game Awards 2023 and we still don't really know that much about it.

Sophia Lillis, Hunter Schafer, and the late, great Udo Kier are set to star in a game which Kojima has boldly described as both a "totally new style of game" and "new form of media," while recently remarking that numerous prominent studios called him "crazy" for even attempting to make it.

We know that OD will apparently be an anthology of horror vignettes helmed by various directors such as himself and Peele, but we don't yet know which other filmmakers are involved.

Many of Kojima's ride-or-die fans would surely love him to just release the game without providing any further information, though presumably for the same of marketing we'll get a deep dive eventually.
