4. Unrecord

One of the most fascinating games to be revealed in recent years is Unrecord - a first-person shooter whose debut trailer turned many heads with its mind-bogglingly photo-realistic graphics, resembling the body cam of a tactical police officer.

It was impressive enough that many immediately accused developer DRAMA of cooking up fake footage, only for them to respond with video of the game running in Unreal Engine.

Even so, many folk were left convinced that Unrecord was basically a tech demo without an actual game to speak of, and considering we've heard desperately little about it in the three-plus years since it was announced, it's easy to see why people feel that way.

Perhaps it's the optimist in us, but what if DRAMA is just taking their time to build a game that fully delivers on the promise of that stunning reveal trailer? 

With Tencent investing in the company late last year and allowing them to grow their small dev team, it might be a while until Unrecord is finally out, but as we all know, good things come to those who wait - sometimes, anyway.
