10. Like Like - The Legend of Zelda Series

Now here's an enemy that thrives on being a troll. 

Making their debut appearance in the original Legend of Zelda, the Like Like is a fleshly tube of a being that likes to lurk just out of sight, typically whilst surrounded by other foes, waiting for the opportune moment to strike. They also have very erratic movements, which make them hard to predict and effectively evade. Should you find yourself within their reach, the Like Likes will latch onto Link and begin the attack.

It's possible to fend them off but should you have a magic shield in your possession, the Like Like is able to steal it and downgrade it to a simple wooden shield. In later games they'll also run away with the shield too, meaning you'll need to chase them down in order to get it back. 

They're relatively simple to kill, and very satisfying to if you've had your shield nicked by them, but their persistent commitment to ruining Link's day makes them the kind of enemy that you want to avoid at all costs. 

Their last appearance in Tears of the Kingdom saw them branch out into hanging from ceilings and stealing a variety of items, too. We admire the ambition, but leave our stuff alone.
