2. Metal Gear Solid 3: Who Was Eva's Voice Actor?

The legendary Metal Gear Solid series is no stranger to easter eggs, with creator Hideo Kojima notoriously fond of leaving secrets and paper trails for fans to find as they play through his games. 2004's Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, which many consider to be the pinnacle of the series, was packed full of secrets and weird quirks for players to find. Snake's love interest in the game, Eva, was voiced in English by someone credited as 'Suzetta Minet'. However, no such person seemed to exist, leaving fans wondering just who voiced the seductive spy, and why it was kept a secret.

Fans investigated this for years, with many convinced she was actually voiced by Jodi Benson, the voice of Ariel in Disney's The Little Mermaid, but there was no official confirmation of this other than the striking similarity. 20 years later, Konami released an episode of its Metal Gear Solid Legacy series, in which the truth was finally revealed: it was in fact Jodi Benson.

Benson herself was seen discussing her role as Eva in the episode, confirming Suzetta Minet was a pseudonym, and finally putting to bed the rumours and speculation. It turns out that a member of Konami's production team, voice director Kris Zimmerman Salter, was keen to seperate Benson's family-friendly image with the heavily sexualized character of Eva, so it was agreed that a pseudonym would work best, with Benson happy to oblige.
