20 Video Game Secret Areas You Only Have ONE Chance To Discover
2. Guarma Trap Hole - Red Dead Redemption 2
There are a lot of things that change drastically between the individual acts of Red Dead Redemption 2, things that you won’t be able to ever come back to on the given playthrough.
The most obvious case of this is the character switch that happens in the epilogue, but the second one is Guarma, the tropical island serving as both a plantation and a penal colony that the gang ends up getting trapped in after the failed heist in Saint Denis.
Although Arthur’s time on Guarma is miserable, having to deal with ruthless overseers and the Cuban military, you, the player, should really take the time to explore the island while you can, because as soon as you finish the main quest on Guarma, you won’t be able to visit it again.
This means that you will not be able to discover all of the fauna exclusive to Guarma’s jungles and the special random encounter that happens to the south of the plantation.
While exploring the jungle, you can fall into a pit trap and get ambushed by soldiers. Again, this isn't the greatest moment for Arthur, but it is still a unique random encounter that you can only discover while trapped on the island.
